Smarp can provide an enhanced language-support for companies where multilingual content is distributed across the community, and there is a need for smart content filtering based on spoken languages. Language detection and filtering are available on the Smarp Enterprise package.
Setting up your languages
In the Content Settings panel, Admins can choose which languages are supported in the program. There should be plenty to choose from, as Smarp supports all major languages across the globe.
Creating content with automatic language detection
When a new post or piece of content is created, Smarp will automatically detect the language it is in and add it to the post.
The content creator will have the chance to review the selected language and make changes if necessary.
The post will then become visible to everyone who has chosen to receive content in the language of the post, in this example, English.
What about the users?
Once the company supported languages are set, users will be able to select their preferences. For new users, this takes place in the registration phase, whereas current users will see a pop-up in Smarp after the change. Users can also choose to receive content in all languages if they wish.
Language preferences can be at any time changed under the personal Language settings.
