On Smarp, all the content created needs to be published in Channels. You cannot create content if there is no channel to publish it in. Your company Smarp domain can have different channels based on different departments, topics, areas of interest for your company, etc. and your users can subscribe to multiple channels to receive a variety of content. For example, an 'HR' channel typically contains posts on people-related matters whereas a 'IT' channel contains news from your company IT department to the wider company.
To understand how users subscribe to channels and receive content in Smarp, see here.
To create a channel, click on the Settings tab in the menu bar and then select Channels from the left-side list. (Please note that if you are a Company Admin and your company Smarp domain has Groups enabled, you have to navigate to the correct group for which you want to create a channel)
On the Channels page, you will see all the channels in your Smarp domain/group. Each channel is displayed as its own row and you can see the channel name, the names of the channel's Channel Managers (if applicable), how many subscribers the channel has, if the channel is Public or Private, and whether the channel is Active or Archived. Your channels are listed by active channels in alphabetical order.
