If your company Smarp domain uses SAML-based Single Sign-on to allow users to log in with their company credentials, you can join Smarp by logging in with your company credentials. Please note that you have to be a member of your company IdP's user group for Smarp in order to be able to access. If you run into any issues during joining Smarp via SSO, please first reach out to your company's IT department regarding your access to Smarp to make sure you are in the correct user group.
The user account creation via SSO for Smarp works as follows. When you navigate to a Smarp domain where SSO is enabled, you will see the following screen with the button Login with Single Sign On:
When SAML is enabled for a Smarp domain there are no other login methods available for you. You can only access via SAML.
After clicking on 'Login with Single Sign On'-button in Smarp, you will be directed to your company's IdP provider to enter your company credentials (for example, OneLogin or Active Directory):
Please enter your company credentials as you would normally log in to your company's resources and other programs. After you have entered your login credentials, this will start the account creation for Smarp and you can begin setting up your Smarp account.
Step 1: Welcome!
Step 2: Agree to Smarp's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
Step 3: Your account is created!
It's that easy! The next time you log in with your company credentials, you will be taken directly to the Smarp feed as your account has already been created.
Depending on your company Smarp domain and its settings, there might also be some extra onboarding steps, including choose a group, choose a team, set your language preference, select how your profile is visible to others, etc.
